Kevin Federline reunites sons with ex-wife Britney Spears

Britney Spears’ ex-husband Kevin Federline opens up about the strained relationship she shares with their sons.

The former dancer revealed on Talk Shop Live that both of their sons, Sean Preston (20) and Jayden James (19), have again started to talk to their mother after years of distance.

“We haven’t talked specifically, but I know that she’s talked to our sons, which is good,” Kevin shared. “They’re trying to find a way to mend a bond between their mom. They absolutely love her always have, always will.”

Kevin insists he always encouraged their kids to stay connected to their mom, Britney.

 “I’ve always wanted them to have a relationship with their mom the way I have with mine,” he explained.

The DJ and author, who just released his memoir You Thought You Knew, believes that his new book, which includes details of Britney’s conservatorship years, is meant to bring healing and not harm.

“People think this book might hurt that situation, but we’ve tried everything else,” he said. “If I have to be the bad guy for my kids to reconnect with their mother, so be it.”

Britney and Kevin were married from 2004 to 2007. The former couple shared custody of their two sons through years of public ups and downs.
