Meghan Markle paid a heartfelt tribute to her husband, Prince Harry, in a Remembrance Day post that is garnering praise from royal fans across social media.
The Duchess of Sussex shared a nostalgic video clip showing Harry sprinting off during a lighthearted interview in Afghanistan during his military service.
The footage, taken over a decade ago, captures a younger Harry in his element as a soldier.
Alongside the clip, Meghan included a recent photograph of the Duke speaking with a veteran, writing: “As my husband says, ‘Once served. Always serving.’ Thank you to all who served, sacrificed, and continue to serve. Honoring you on Veterans Day. And every day.”
Harry, who served ten years in the British Armed Forces and completed two tours of duty in Afghanistan, has long been vocal about his pride in serving.
His military legacy continues through the Invictus Games Foundation, which he founded in 2014 to support wounded and recovering service members.
Over the weekend, the Duke appeared via video link at the Heroic Hearts Project Gala, telling guests: “Strength isn’t the absence of struggle, it’s the willingness to face it.”
