John Cena ends Boston RAW in Grand Slam glory with Intercontinental crown

John Cena, the WWE-turned Hollywood superstar, stole the spotlight on Monday Night RAW, adding another landmark achievement to his legendary career.

The 48-year-old actor, who recently made headlines with Peacemaker Season 2, revealed that he had requested an extra stop in Boston on the final leg of his farewell tour.

The action exploded when Dominik Mysterio crashed Cena’s announcement of an exhibition tournament involving the main roster and NXT. 

Taunting the WWE icon, Mysterio tried to make it all about himself, but it spectacularly backfired. 

WWE Chief Content Officer (CCO) Triple H immediately made a match official for the 28-year-old wrestler’s Intercontinental Championship, kicking off an unforgettable battle.

Mysterio tried to escape, but Cena pursued him, and after a series of intense moves and countered attacks, he landed his signature Attitude Adjustment to secure the win.

With the victory, the Freelance actor captured the WWE Intercontinental Championship, finally completing his Grand Slam and claiming the only title that had eluded him. 

Earlier this year, he also broke WWE Hall of Fame Ric Flair’s record as a 17-time WWE Champion, cementing his place in history.
