Olivia Rodrigo is making her allegiances clear as she slammed ICE for using her song for their video.
The video was shared by the Department of Homeland Security where they asked immigrants to leave the country willingly, using her song All-American Bitch.
“Don’t ever use my songs to promote your racist, hateful propaganda,” responded Rodrigo.
“LEAVE NOW and self-deport using the CBP Home app. If you don’t, you will face the consequences,” read the post from the DHS.
The lyrics to her song read, “All the time, I’m grateful all the time, I’m sexy and I’m kind, I’m pretty when I cry.”
Fans praised the singer, while also criticizing Taylor Swift for her silence on all political matters, “a 22 year old pop star with only 2 albums has taken more risks and has more of a backbone than that blond established singer with decade long career.”
While others made fun of Sydney Sweeney for a recent American Eagle ad, “Had to be made clear that she’s no blonde-hair blue-eyed actress claiming she has great jeans.”
Other comments included similar sentiments, “Olivia just roasted the White House, DHS, ICE, and Trump in one fiery tweet,” and “olivia nailed it, using her song for anti-immigrant ads is twisted.”
