Prince William recreated his late mother Princess Diana’s memory from her trip to Brazil.
The future king is on a three-day trip to Brazil which includes his Earthshot Awards and UN's climate conference COP30.
During his stay in Rio de Janeiro, William posed in front of the Christ the Redeemer statue, which is one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
The picture was posted on Instagram with the caption “An inspiring start to the day with the Earthshot Prize 2025 Finalists at Christ the Redeemer!”
The picture was similar to the one late Princess Diana took when she visited the South American country in 1991.
Diana landed in Brazil in April 1991 with then-Prince Charles while they were still married.
The couple spent five days in Brazil on behalf of the British government.
Similar to his parents, William is also on a environmental focused trip to Rio.
The Prince also posed at the statue’s balcony recreating Diana’s picture from 34 years ago.
The future king will attend the Earthshot Awards on Wednesday evening at the Museum of Tomorrow.
