Pete Davidson wants to see THIS tech invention in future

Pete Davidson is expecting more advanced technologies in the future, including hoverboards and flying cars.

Speaking with PEOPLE, Davidson, who is partnering with Amazon for Alexa+, revealed the tech he is excited about in the future and another he no longer looks forward to.

"I'm still waiting for the hoverboard," Davidson said. "We got close. Remember those boards they had, but then they just started exploding?"

The actor was referring to the self-balancing devices that spiked in popularity in past years but later faced technological issues.

Moreover, Davidson used to look forward to a technological advancement in the future, but he doesn’t anymore. It is “flying cars,” he said.

"When I was a kid, they sounded really cool, but now that I actually drive, that would be a f------ nightmare," he added. "So I hope nobody ever creates flying cars."

While Davidson may have to wait a little longer to witness some technological advancements take shape, he can, for now, enjoy Amazon’s latest upgrade to Alexa, its cloud-based voice assistant.

The new Alexa+, powered by generative AI to offer a more conversational, personalized, and proactive experience, and free for Prime members, is “nice” and “reliable,” Davidson said.
