Why is Ana De Armas, Tom Cruise's project on hold?

Ana de Armas and Tom Cruise's upcoming project, Deeper, is facing an unpredicted hold as the pair breaks up.

The movie is a supernatural thriller starring Tom Cruise and directed by Doug Liman.

Tom Cruise, 63, and Ana de Armas, 37, had been dating since February, but they never confirmed their “dear friend and mentor” relationship.

As per reports, the Ballerina actress realised she couldn’t deal with his controlling nature anymore. By late summer, the couple had quietly moved on.

According to Daniel Richtman, a renowned twitter writer, the production of the project has been on hold after the film industry faced tariffs by US President Donald Trump, via Daily Mail.

Trump recently announced, any movie filmed outside of US is to be charged a 100 per cent tariff.

Further the source continued, US Weekly on October 30 that Ana and Tom’s romance actually began as they “spent every day together” while “training for the intense underwater sequences” for their forthcoming.

The member added, “It started as a deep professional respect and then it ignited. Tom was completely captivated by Ana.”

However, the pair “have a connection” and “they will see how things go in the future.”
