Prince William teams up with Kylie Minogue and other celebs for Earthshot Awards

Prince William’s Earthshot Prize is going global once again, and this year, Kylie Minogue is taking center stage. 

The pop icon will headline the 2025 awards ceremony in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on November 5, joining a glittering line-up of international stars.

The event will also feature performances by Brazilian legend Gilberto Gil, chart-topper Anitta, and singer Seu Jorge, who will celebrate the environmental heroes recognized by the Prince of Wales’s global climate initiative. 

“Brazil — I’m coming back!” Kylie said. 

“It’s a privilege to be part of The Earthshot Prize, on stage with the people and the ideas that could save our planet.”

Other A-listers include Shawn Mendes, set to return to Brazil after his 2025 tour, and Matthew McConaughey, who narrates the event’s trailer, Meet the World’s True Action Heroes.

Prince William launched the Earthshot Prize to support groundbreaking solutions tackling climate change, with each of the five winners receiving £1 million to further their projects.
