When it comes to royal fashion, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle may have vastly different aesthetics, but according to a top celebrity stylist, there’s one thing that connects their style evolution: authenticity.
Celebrity stylist Ciara Russell told the Express UK that both royals now dress to reflect who they’ve become.
“Kate’s style has evolved, it’s sharper, more refined, and more tailored,” Russell explained.
“She’s embraced a business-chic aesthetic that balances authority with timeless femininity.”
Meanwhile, Meghan Markle continues to champion minimalist luxury, favoring clean lines, neutral tones, and precision tailoring.
“Meghan’s tones are distinctly Californian and effortless,” Russell noted.
“Kate’s palette feels deeply British, the greys, greens, and tweeds are her love letter to heritage design.”
“Both women dress true to their personalities, just in different ways,” Russell added. “Kate’s style whispers power, Meghan’s radiates independence — but both own their influence.”
