Snoop Dogg, known for his chart-topping hits, made his first steal of the season on The Voice and fans can’t get enough.
The 54-year-old legendary rapper finally hit his red button on Monday night’s episode in dramatic fashion, surprising both the audience and fellow coaches.
The Sensual Seduction crooner swooped in moments after the Irish singer Niall Horan chose to advance Kirbi following a tear-jerking Battle performance of Lauren Daigle’s You Say.
Kirbi had been paired with Carolina Rodriguez for Team Niall’s final Battle, and the duo’s emotional rendition left both coaches and viewers moved.
“It was beautiful, it was emotional, it was everything we want in a Battle,” the32-year-old gushed.
Ultimately, the Kiss You singer picked Kirbi for her heartfelt delivery but before Carolina could leave the stage, Snoop slammed his button, saving her from elimination.
“The thing I loved about Carolina was her growth,” he said. “From the Blinds to now — you can tell she’s ready.”
Elsewhere, Team Snoop’s Max Chambers and Aarik Duncan wowed with Just the Two of Us, earning praise for their effortless chemistry. “
You complemented each other instead of competing,” Snoop noted.
