Lady Gaga suffers from major setback during ‘Mayhem Tour’

Lady Gaga is devastated as she had to cancel her latest touring performance due to health scare.

The Bloody Mary singer, who is currently on her final North America leg of Mayhem Ball Tour, had to call off her third and final show at Montreal.

In her Instagram she posted the reason, explaining, "I've been fighting a respiratory infection for the past few days and doing everything I can to rest and recover, but it’s gotten worse."

"I’m so sorry to share that I’m unable to perform tonight and have to cancel the show," she added.

The Grammy winner added that her doctor has "strongly advised" to avoid any kind of performances, admitting that she can’t really "give you the quality of a performance today that you deserve."

Gaga further expressed her deep regret over the cancellation, saying she felt terrible for disappointing fans and letting them down.

She went on to apologise sincerely to everyone who had made plans to attend the show and support her.

Describing the recent performance in Montreal, the Die With a Smile hitmaker continued, "Performing for you on Thursday and Friday was magical and deeply meaningful."

"To everyone who was coming tonight, I’m absolutely heartbroken and so sorry," she concluded.

Gaga previously played shows in Montreal on Thursday, April 2, and Friday, April 3, as a part of her tour.

Following her Canadian shows, only three concerts will be left on the Mayhem Ball Tour, including two in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and one at Madison Square Garden in New York City on April 13.
