Kate Ritchie has taken to her social media to share her experience at a high-end resort, which had an unplanned visitor.
The Australian actress was staying at the Sheraton Mirage in Port Douglas, Queensland which had a crocodile in the pool.
In a post on her Instagram, the former Home and Away star talked about the incident, alongside a scary shot of the reptile.
“Kate’s “near death” encounter with a Crocodile,” she captioned the post with a crocodile emoji, crediting the picture of the unusual swimmer to another resortgoer, ‘kellerdiaries.’
In the first image of the carousel, the 47-year-old could be seen in a one-piece swimsuit and black sunglasses while looking out over the deck.
A giant red arrow seemingly points to a spot in the pool where the crocodile was located, all of which shocked Kate’s followers.
“Can’t even trust a pool for a swim,” one internet user wrote, while another added, “Crikey , I think Kate planted it there to get Robert Irwin home,” with a laughing emoji referring to the Australian zookeeper currently on Dancing With The Stars.
