Post Malone, who is known for chart-topping hits, faced a legal action for not paying a worker after making him part of a music project.
Although the 30-year-old rapper is notable for his kind nature, Malone is now being called out for an unusual reason.
According to TMZ, the Congratulations hitmaker is being sued by a Limo driver for not compensating him for being featured in his Tommy Lee music video.
In new court documents, Larry Deuel alleged that he was assured to be “taken care of” by the rapper if he takes part in the video.
The part-time driver filed a suit against Malone for “fraudulent inducement and misappropriation of name and likeness, breach of contract and more.”
Deuel is demanding a hefty amount of “$2.5 million in principal damages and at least $7.5 million in punitive damages.”
After the news began to make the round, the online community sided with their favourite singer.
Although one of the X users noted that “if it [is] true then legal action need to be there,” another was of the opinion that the Sunflower singer “seems like a nice a** dude.”
A third netizen shared their opinion on the update: “I hardly think his 10 minutes was worth millions.”
The artist is yet to speak or take any action against the claims being made as he is working on his new album which will be releasing soon. In April 2025, he released his song I Ain’t Comin’ Back with Moran Wallen.
