Grammy-nominated hitmaker and chart-topping artist Post Malone is adding a new skill to his résumé as he debuts as an underwear model in Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS menswear campaign.
The experience was nothing short of “terrifying,” according to the singer, who shared his thoughts after the campaign’s release on Aug. 19.
“It’s terrifying for me,” the Sunflower crooner admitted in an interview with GQ. “I’ve never done anything like that. It’s like a Sasquatch sighting, essentially, is what it feels like. Everyone’s going to call it in to the cops and say, ‘We saw Bigfoot out here.’ Or, Averagefoot.”
Ahead of his Utah photoshoot with Theo Wenner, Malone revealed he attempted to bulk up, but when that didn’t go as planned, he turned to a tried-and-true solution: fried chicken.
The rapper also credited his go-to SKIMS pieces for boosting his confidence.
“It was really a lot of fun — it made me feel like a handsome son of a bitch,” Malone joked, adding that he’s now waiting on a flood of texts from admirers.
Taking centre stage in the Realtree-print collection, Malone showcased relaxed-fit tops, bottoms, and even underwear — all designed in the limited-edition camo print.
The Rockstar singer also gushed about his personal favourite: camouflage itself.
“I love Realtree camouflage. I love camouflage in general. Some people are passionate about a lot of stuff, like some people build spaceships and stuff, and I just like camouflage and anything that is in that vein,” Malone told GQ, explaining his obsession with the aesthetic.
