Panic! At The Disco has finally performed at the When We Were Young festival, reuniting with an old bandmate on stage.

The band, which consists of the sole original member Brendon Urie, performed the debut album A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out in full in honour of its 20th anniversary.

During the encore section of the performance, Death of a Bachelor singer brought out the band’s original drummer Spencer Smith for the iconic song I Write Sins Not Tragedies.

The Kinky Boots musical actor introduced him as his “oldest friend,” as the presence of one of the original bandmates Ryan Ross was missed by many.

Brendon quickly went viral on X (formerly Twitter) for the reunion performance after he had announced that the band was calling it quits.

“BRENDON URIE AND SPENCER SMITH TOGHETER ON STAGE IN 2025,” one fan wrote with crying emojis.

“I actually feel sick i cant do this i hate brendon urie,” one fan wrote, presumably out of jealousy for concert goers as another added, “I hate Brendon urie, yes I’m devastated I won’t see afycso live” referring to his past controversy.

Why did Brendon Urie retire?

Brendon disbanded Panic! At The Disco to take time to raise his then-forthcoming baby with his wife Sarah.
