Rita Ora plots her grand return to music in 2026

Rita Ora, known for her chart-topping hits, has finally sent fans into a frenzy after making a huge announcement.

The 34-year-old singer, who released her last album You & I in 2023, is now preparing to make her long-awaited musical comeback.

The Ritual hitmaker is gearing up for a massive 2026 as she prepares to release her long-awaited fourth studio album and embark on a world tour.

She revealed that she's shifting her focus back to music after spending recent years exploring acting and TV projects.

For the unversed, her recent ventures include roles in The Masked Singer UK, where she serves as a judge, and appearances in movies such as Twist and Fifty Shades Freed.

Speaking on a Melbourne radio show, Rita teased: “There’s definitely an album coming. I’m really focused on this record and I’m coming out to tour – I haven’t toured an album since 2018. 

My career has been so interesting... in the new year, I’m going inwards – to clean up shop and lead with intention.”

The Hot Right Now singer also confirmed she’ll be hitting Australia and New Zealand, which she now calls her “second home” since marrying Kiwi filmmaker Taika Waititi in 2022. 

Furthermore, the songstress is also planning a tell-all documentary featuring eight years of behind-the-scenes footage, from wardrobe malfunctions to make-up disasters.

When did Rita Ora marry Taika Waititi?

Rita Ora married New Zealand filmmaker Taika Waititi in August 2022.

The pair first met in 2018 but didn’t start dating until early 2021. 

Their romance blossomed while both were living and working in Australia, Rita was filming The Voice Australia, and Taika was directing Thor: Love and Thunder.

They made their relationship public later that year, appearing together at red carpet events and on social media.
