Kylie Jenner, famously known for being a reality TV star and beauty mogul, is swapping lip kits for lyrics as she officially launches her music career.
The 28-year-old made her unexpected music debut this week, featuring on Fourth Strike, a sultry new single by pop duo Terror Jr, composed of Lisa Vitale and David Singer-Vine.
The track serves as a follow-up to their 2016 hit 3 Strikes, which was famously used in Kylie’s Kylie Cosmetics campaign and sparked years of rumours that she was secretly the voice behind it.
Nearly a decade later, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star has confirmed those rumours were false, but admits she always wanted to make them come true.
Describing her music debut as a “lifelong dream,” Kylie shared, “There was a little rumour 10 years ago that I was the one actually singing on 3 Strikes!
It wasn’t me (wish it was). So I had the idea to come together for Fourth Strike — and this time it’s actually me!”
In a YouTube Q&A, the businesswoman revealed she has dreamt of becoming a pop star “since I came out of the womb.”
Reviving her 2014 alter ego ‘King Kylie’, she has launched verified artist pages on Spotify and Apple Music, and even shared a heartwarming clip of her children, Stormi and Aire, singing along to her new track in the car.
