Bad Bunny, who is known for his hit tracks, became unstoppable after sparking major buzz with Super Bowl announcement.
After a controversy erupted for choosing him to headline the halftime show, Bad Bunny reportedly broke his own records on streaming platforms.
The Grammy winner’s track BAILE INoLVIDABLE hit “900 million” streams on Spotify, making it his “32nd” song to achieve the milestone.
While announcement divided the internet, A-list stars came out in the pop icon’s support including Jennifer Lopez.
The songstress defended Bad Bunny for being the headliner, showing excitement and backing him for his upcoming performance.
Moreover, RocNation’s founder Jay-Z highlighted and appreciated the I Like It singer for his contributions towards his homeland.
Beyonce’s husband remarked about the musician, noting: “What Benito has done and continues to do for Puerto Rico is truly inspiring.”
He admitted being “honoured to have him on the world’s biggest stage.”
This came after it was confirmed that ICE raids will be conducted at the Super Bowl event following the MONACO hitmaker’s remarks about skipping US dates for his musical tour.
It is to be noted that the singer cleared he doesn’t hate America and is not holding concerts due to ICE raids concerns.
