Victoria Beckham takes swipe at Nicola Peltz as she gushes over Cruz’s girlfriend

Victoria Beckham couldn’t help but shower her son Cruz’s girlfriend, Jackie Apostel, with love as the budding songwriter celebrated her 30th birthday.

The 51-year-old fashion icon took to Instagram on Saturday to post a series of heartfelt tributes, calling Jackie “the sweetest, kindest, most beautiful soul”. 

In one photo, the pair were seen glammed up in black gowns, smiling in the back of a car.

In another snap, Victoria and the songstress looked effortlessly chic in matching grey suits, with the former Spice Girl adding: “Happy birthday!!!!! Love you!!! (sic)”

A third post showed the Keep Me Alive singer in a pale blue dress while Cruz, planted a kiss on her cheek. 

“We hope you have an amazing day and can’t wait to celebrate you!!! We all love you @jackie.apostel,” the former Posh Spice wrote.

The 20-year-old singer and Jackie first sparked romance rumours at Glastonbury Festival in July 2024, and since then, she has become part of the Beckham family, even joining them for the premiere of Victoria’s Netflix documentary earlier this month.

She later returned the love online, praising the David Beckham's wife for her “resilience and drive”, calling her a “bright light to everyone around you”.

The sweet exchange comes amid reports that Victoria and David’s eldest son, Brooklyn, remains distant from the family following his 2022 marriage to Nicola Peltz.

Rumours of a rift between Victoria Beckham and her daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz Beckham first surfaced around Brooklyn and Nicola’s lavish wedding in April 2022.

The tension reportedly began over Nicola’s decision to wear a Valentino couture gown instead of a dress designed by Victoria’s own fashion label, 

Following the wedding, fans noticed that Brooklyn seemed to spend most of his time with the 30-year-old star’s family.

Reports claim the 26-year-old former model and the Lola actress were notably absent from several major family gatherings, including David Beckham’s 50th birthday celebration, reigniting rumours of a strained relationship.
