Liam Payne’s sister calls out out Kate Cassidy in memorial post?

Liam Payne’s one-year death anniversary has refreshed the heartbreak of the One Direction alum’s passing for many, including the singer’s sister Ruth Payne Gibbons.

The older sister took to her Instagram to pen a lengthy and love-filled note about her journey with grief after losing a beloved family member that she shared a close bond with.

However, in the letter to Liam, the sister also expressed her dislike of people using the tragedy to gain fame, seemingly referring to his girlfriend Kate Cassidy since she had also made a flurry of posts about their love story on social media.

“Everyone only seems interested in the public side of this,” Ruth put towards the end of her note, which can be seen in the 5th slide on the post.

“Some sadly seem more interested in the fame they can gain off this, but on the human side people need to remember when they speak, there is a son without his Dad, parents without their child and I am lost without my brother,” she wrote.

Elsewhere in the note, Ruth calls Liam the loss of her life, adding that she is stuck with a perpetual feeling of homesickness.

Notably, Kate has been vocal about her dealing with the grief and loss as well and often takes to her social media to post special moments and vulnerable times.
