Margot Robbie is expected to star in a 2000s movie prequel alongside Bradley Cooper, instead of reuniting with her Barbie co-star, Ryan Gosling.
The duo previously came together for the blockbuster hit Barbie, which became the highest-grossing film of 2023 and a cultural phenomenon.
With over $1.4 billion worldwide, the film earned eight Academy Award nominations.
It was previously reported that Ryan would appear with Margot as Danny Ocean’s parents in the new movie, but recent reports confirm that Bradley will share the screen with the 35-year-old Australian actress.
The prequel is set to be directed by Lee Isaac Chung, who has taken over from Jay Roach, the original director.
The film’s title has yet to be announced, but George Clooney, who appeared in three of the Ocean’s films, revealed that shooting is expected to begin in the near future.
“It’s just scheduling, so we’re setting a start date—probably in about nine or ten months,” George stated.
The speculated cast of Ocean’s Fourteen includes Julia Roberts, Matt Damon, Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Margot Robbie, and Bradley Cooper.
