Sean “Diddy” Combs’ case is over, and after the internet erupted at his four-year sentence being too short for the rap mogul’s crimes, it seems that there might be more cause for outrage.

The Bad Boy Records founder would be eligible for a year lesser worth of jail time, if one condition is met.

As per U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian, the enrollment of the I’ll Be Missing You singer’s into a drug rehabilitation centre is encouraged.

The specific program recommended by the federal judge is the Federal Bureau of Prisons’ Residential Drug Abuse Program, which goes on for nine months and is a rehab initiative that can shave off a year from an inmate’s sentence if they are eligible.

Diddy was sentenced to 50 months, which is four years and two months to be exact for two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.

Meanwhile the record producer’s legal team has been fighting tooth and nail for his early release and even a mistrial.

Diddy himself sent a surprising letter filled with admission of guilt and remorse over his actions, as well as his supporters claiming that he has turned over a new leaf.

Who's richer, Jay-Z or P Diddy?

Diddy and Jay-Z are both extremely wealthy rappers and influential figures in the music industry, but Jay-Z’s wealth is more in comparison to the imprisoned figure.
