Katy Perry and Taylor Swift have no more blood between them, as the former has revealed her favourite song off of the latter’s new album.
The 40-time American Music Award winner released her twelfth studio album The Life of a Showgirl on October 3rd, and now the popstar who inspired the smash hit Bad Blood has revealed that she is streaming track 5 off of showgirl.
In one of her Instagram stories, the Swish Swish singer added a Spotify plug for Eldest Daughter, even though she is a middle child with an elder sister and a younger brother.
The two, who once made headlines for their controversy over poaching backup dancers in 2012, have long reconciled after Katy sent a literal olive branch to the Don’t Blame Me singer.
Later, Taylor featured the Teenage Dream crooner in a music video for her You Need to Calm Down music video where the two dressed as French fries and a burger respectively.
The 40-year-old even attended the notorious The Eras Tour and posed with the Cruel Summer singer for a smiling selfie.
Meanwhile, it would make sense if Eldest Daughter resonates with Katy since the song is pointedly about the harshness of the remarks on the internet and the difficulties of dealing with high levels of fame.
Taylor has released 27 physical variants of The Life of a Showgirl, which has been heavily critiqued by a majority of netizens.
