Kelly Osbourne’s latest gesture leaves mum Sharon in tears

Kelly Osbourne pulled at fans’ heartstrings as she surprised her mother, Sharon Osbourne, with a touching birthday gesture.

Notably, her first since the heartbreaking death of her husband, rock legend Ozzy Osbourne.

The 40-year-old star shared a series of Instagram videos showing how she secretly decorated her mother’s room with floating balloons and wrapped presents while Sharon, who just turned 73, was fast asleep. 

“Shhh! So it’s my mom’s birthday today, and I just decorated her room,” Kelly whispered on her Stories before panning the camera to a sleeping Sharon.

It comes less than three months after the death of the Black Sabbath frontman, who passed away aged 76 at his Buckinghamshire home on 22 July following heart failure, just two weeks after performing his emotional farewell concert in Birmingham.

It’s a Boy Girl Thing actress recently thanked fans for their “overwhelming love and support,” admitting she is “still finding her footing” in the wake of her husband’s passing. 

Their son, Jack Osbourne, shared on Good Morning America: “She’s okay, but she’s not okay. I know she feels the love.”

A new BBC One documentary, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home, together with the Paramount+ film Ozzy: No Escape From Now, delve into the rock legend’s final years, charting his struggle with Parkinson’s disease and heart complications.

This is a moving tribute that reinforces his enduring legacy as the Prince of Darkness.
