The latter well-known pair is fictional characters from the series-turned-cultural phenomenon, The Summer I Turned Pretty.
In the show, which uses a number of songs by the Dress singer, Belly is the female lead who gets caught up in a love triangle between brothers Jeremiah and Conrad.
The teenage girl, played by Lola Tung gets engaged to Jeremiah, only to eventually break things off and go back to her broody and more somber love interest, Conrad.
Since the real-life global popstar has put out her latest album with a number of love songs gushing over her fiancé Travis Kelce, swifties have felt underwhelmed by her songwriting about him and have started missing the British actor Taylor was once smitten with.
A user who goes by ‘Tayluh Swift’ on X (formerly Twitter) to post an edit of the London Boy singer and the Hamnet actor, in which the exes seem to be reminiscing about their time together.
“I LITERALLY SCREAMED WHEN I SAW THIS VIDEO. It’s giving Belly and Conrad,” they wrote in the caption of the post.
The remarks have been echoed by other netizens, with one writing, “Taylor is literally belly in season 3 rn,” while another added, “the way he rubs his finger is kinda giving conrad vibes.”
