Joe Alwyn receives backlash from Taylor Swift fans

British actor Joe Alwyn is once again being mocked by Taylor Swift’s fans.

The actor was Taylor’s longest known partner as they started dating in 2016 and eventually separated in 2023.

While Joe has maintained his silence on the break up, the pop star’s massive fan base continues to troll him.

In a new promotional video for JW Anderson posted on October 9, Joe can be seen dipping a stick in honey, licking his fingers, and slamming a table.

The video drew a lot of attention but mostly mockery from the Lover singer’s fans who called him “boring”.

A user took to X to write “i’m really trying to be unbiased but this man looks so boring and personalityless omg i just don’t understand what the widows see in him”.

Another wrote “I tried to see the vision but I seriously don’t get how his fans are interested in him.”

The discourse comes a week after Taylor dropped her twelfth studio album, The Life of a Showgirl on October 3.

The couple broke up in 2023 and Taylor went on to date Travis Kelce, who she got engaged to in August 2025.
