A$AP Rocky pulls at Rihanna's heartstrings with love message

A$AP Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, has made a heartfelt admission about his family.

The 37-year-old rapper, known for his chart-topping hits, revealed that his new-born daughter, Rocki Irish, is his “favourite thing” he has created this year, even more than his music.

For the unversed, the Dope actor and his superstar partner, Rihanna, welcomed their third child last month, joining big brothers RZA, three, and Riot, two.

Speaking to Complex magazine, the Praise the Lord hitmaker proudly said: “My daughter. That’s my favourite thing I created this year. Shout out to Rocki Irish, man.”

Furthermore, he also reflected on how fatherhood has changed him, admitting he’s learned from the “dumb mistakes” of his past. 

“I used to do a lot of dumb s***. Now I’m trying to move on some straight and narrow s***,” he confessed. 

“The smartest thing I did this year was just learn from my mistakes and turn them into something positive.”

When asked which animal he’d become if he could, Rocky gave a typically eccentric answer, the elephant. 

“The real king of the jungle,” he declared. 

“Elephants are sacred, emotional, and intelligent — like land dolphins. Don’t take me too serious, though. What the f*** am I talking about right now?” he joked.
