Angelina Jolie’s newly filed court documents amid her ongoing legal battle with ex-husband Brad Pitt over their luxurious vineyard have taken a shocking turn.
The 50-year-old actress has revealed that she has never set foot in Chateau Miraval, the French estate she once shared with Brad Pitt, since their bitter split.
The Maleficent actress made an emotional admission, revealing that the property, once a “focal point of family life,” has now become a painful reminder of their past.
“To this day, the children and I have never again set foot on the property, given its connection to the painful events leading to the divorce,” she wrote.
Jolie explained she gave the Fight Club star “control and full residency” of their homes in Los Angeles and Miraval after their 2016 separation, hoping it would ease tensions during a “difficult and traumatic period.”
The Oscar winner, who shares six children Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Vivienne and Knox, said leaving Miraval behind was heart-breaking.
“We were married there. I spent part of my pregnancy there and brought our twins home from the hospital,” she recalled.
A source close to the 61-year-old actor, dismissed Jolie’s comments, claiming: “This is a commercial business dispute, not a personal one.”
The former Mr. and Mrs. Smith co-stars, who wed in 2014, finalised their divorce in 2024 but remain locked in a fierce legal feud over the $160 million estate, which Maria actress sold to the Stoli Group without Pitt’s approval.
