Veteran Hollywood star Kevin Costner is facing a slew of allegations about his alleged bad behaviour.
One of the major accusations claims that he attacked his Yellowstone co-star Wes Bentley and caused a temporary shutdown of production.
Other allegations include claims of unprofessional behavior on set, getting into altercations with costars, "rewrite scripts without warning", among others.
On the legal side, Costner is facing a sexual harassment lawsuit from a stunt performed for his project, Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 2.
An insider told The Hollywood Reporter that Costner “lunged” at Bentley when the younger actor declined to "ditch Taylor Sheridan's script" to follow the former’s direction of the scene.
Bentley reportedly told Costner that he had "signed up for a Taylor Sheridan show, not a Kevin Costner production."
"Kevin didn't like that, and he lunged at him," explained the source. "No fists were thrown, but they were in each other's faces, pushing and shoving and just getting hot until they had to be separated."
Costner’s behaviour on set seemingly upset many of his other costars, with Kelly Reilly reportedly being moved to tears by the incident.
The insider explained that the altercation was one of the many reasons Costner is being considered "impossible."
"There's a long list of people in Hollywood who swear they'll never work with Costner again," they shockingly added.
He eventually ended up exiting the show, with his costars being relieved at the decision as Luke Grimes said, "To be really honest, there was a part of Kevin being gone that meant some of the conflict was gone. Not pointing any fingers, but it was actually the easiest season we've filmed."
Following his exit, rumours of his behaviour and disturbing actions continue to follow him around.
However, his former agent Rick Nicita came to his defense, saying, "The word difficult gets used a lot. It can mean someone who won't come out of their trailer, or someone who doesn't know their lines, or is rude. That's not Kevin."
The agent’s following comments seem to inadvertently confirm Costner’s difficulty, as he added, "He wanted what he wanted and knew what he wanted and if he didn't get it … well, he was never a great compromiser. It's a firm belief in himself and a confidence that to some can play as arrogance."
Despite reports of clashes between Costner and showrunner Sheridan, he has denied rumours of a rift, "I've never had an issue with Kevin that he and I couldn't work out on the phone. But once lawyers get involved, then people don't get to talk to each other and start saying things that aren't true and attempt to shift blame based on how the press or public seem to be reacting."
Stunt performer Devyn LaBella is suing Costner for allegedly “forcing” her into a violent sexual assault scene without informing her beforehand or having an intimacy coordinator present.
According to The Guardian, the actor is insisting that the allegations are a "bold-faced lie".
It remains to be seen how all these accusations and allegations against the actor will fare for his career.
