American sweetheart Jennifer Aniston made a heartbreaking admission about the hit sitcom Friends.
The actress rose to global fame in the 90s when she starred as Rachel Green on the iconic show.
Jennifer has now confessed that reprising her character would be impossible after co-star Matthew Perry’s death.
Matthew, who played the role of Chandler Bing on the show, passed away on October 28, 2023.
His cause of death was revealed to be “accidental drowning” but it is believed that drugs also played a role in his tragic death.
Speaking about the possible reboot to Harper’s Bazaar Jennifer said, “It would be literally, physically impossible”.
The late actor struggled with depression and addiction while he played the role of the sarcastic character for 10 seasons.
“It’s heartbreaking that he had so many demons,”, Jennifer commented.
The actress said she looks back at the time spent doing the show fondly calling it “pure joy”.
“I looked forward to it every day. I couldn't wait to get to work. I couldn't wait to see those people. I couldn't wait to read the scripts”, the actress recalled.
The last time the cast reunited as a group of six was in 2021 for an official event, Friends: The Reunion.
