Cynthia Nixon celebrates 14th wedding anniversary with heartfelt tribute

Cynthia Nixon is celebrating a major relationship milestone with wife Christine Marinoni after 14 years of marriage.

The Sex and the City actress shared an emotional anniversary post on Instagram, revealing that the couple has now been together for 22 years in total. 

Nixon reflected on their long relationship journey while posting affectionate photos of the pair together, including playful snapshots inspired by her character Aunt Ada from HBO’s The Gilded Age.

“My wife Christine and I have been together for 22 years but today is our 14th wedding anniversary,” Nixon wrote in the heartfelt caption. 

According to Daily Mail, she also described falling in love with Marinoni as “the best thing” she had ever done, aside from having children.

Moreover, the couple first met in the early 2000s and began dating in 2004 following Nixon’s split from former partner Danny Mozes. 

As per the outlet, they became engaged during a same-sex marriage rally in New York in 2009 before tying the knot in 2012 after same-sex marriage was legalized in the state.

Nixon and Marinoni share one son together, while the actress also has two children from her previous relationship.
