Offset spills untold truth about parenting amid Cardi B divorce drama

Offset is taking parenting cues straight from his mum, while his messy divorce from Cardi B continues to make headlines.

The 33-year-old rapper, who shares three children with Cardi, Kulture, seven, Wave, four, and baby Blossom, 13 months, opened up about fatherhood during an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show.

For those unfamiliar, he also has three more kids from previous relationships.

“My mum influenced me with raising my kids, especially when it comes to discipline,” he revealed.

“Not physical, but in schooling and helping them understand that nothing is just given to you.”

Offset admitted his children are growing up very differently from how he did.

“My kids have a higher lifestyle,” he said.

“So I help them understand — especially my boys — that life will still bring challenges, and to always represent us wherever they go.”

But while the Clout hitmaker’s parenting skills are earning praise, things aren’t as smooth on the marriage front.

The 32-year-old female rapper recently made a shocking claim that their divorce has been delayed because of money issues.

In a fiery livestream, the WAP singer alleged, “The only reason I’m still married is because somebody wants me to pay for their taxes and hand over one of my properties!”

She says that her ex-husband is demanding “millions of dollars” to finalise the split, fuming, “This ain’t love — this is business!”

When did Cardi B and Offset get married?

Cardi B and Offset tied the knot on September 20, 2017, in a private ceremony held in Atlanta, Georgia.

The couple managed to keep their marriage secret for nearly a year before confirming it publicly.
