Few days after the announcement, the 79-year-old’s sister took to Facebook to ask her fans for prayers as she spent the “entire” night praying for Dolly.

Admirers were convinced that the singer is suffering from something really serious, pointing out that the icon is "very private" about her matters.

However, the Jolene hitmaker decided to address the rumours herself by sharing a video of her filming commercials with a playful caption, “I ain’t dead yet!”

The Grammy winner, dressed like a “country western girl," put everyone at ease by revealing that she isn’t facing anything major.

The health issues are a result of not taking "care” of herself after her husband Carl Dean fell sick and passed away. Dolly also slammed the AI-generated pictures of her on death bed that began making the rounds.

However, she appreciated the online community for the love and prayers she received as she admitted having “faith” in prayers. The country singer assured that she can use those prayers and they won’t go to waste.

The 9 to 5 crooner revealed that the decision to postpone the shows was to ensure she stays “closer” to her home. The new dates that were announced earlier are: September 17, 19, 20, 23 and 26, 2026.
