'Wizards Beyond Waverly Place' Alex Russo not dead: Details revealed

Selena Gomez, who recently got married to Benny Blanco, rose to fame as her character Alex Russo in the Disney’s Wizards of Waverly Place.

In the new season of the reboot, a plot twist was introduced that left fans both confused and convinced she’s dead in the show.

Before the audience reaches to the conclusion, David Henrie confirmed that the ending did not seemingly ends in the lead’s death.

The actor, who plays Justin in the series, tweeted “Just so you know, Alex Russo is tougher than you think... and there’s a lot more to come. You’re asking all the right questions. Stay tuned.”

The message for Wizards Beyond Waverly Place indicated that the ongoing buzz about the plot twist might be entirely false.

This came after it was revealed in the latest episode that the Selena’s character Alex is the mother of Billie Russo, whom she wanted to train with the help of Justin.

Towards the end, it was disclosed that the lead did everything to protect the young wizard from her evil, paternal grandfather Lord Morsus.

However, this was not all as Alex proceeded to lock herself up in a portal with the antagonist of the series, sacrificing herself for the sake of her daughter.

The ending was not applauded by the viewers as many refuse to believe it with one user noting: “I’m gonna keep saying, I’m in shock… [but] I don’t believe that she’s actually dead.“
