Seth Rogen is finally addressing his major Emmy wins this year, by hilariously acting unbothered by the obviously monumental achievement.
The comedian won the prestigious awards all for being the director, writer and lead actor in the comedy show The Studio this year, dominating the major categories at the ceremony.
In a chat on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the same name host congratulated the filmmaker on his accomplishment, to which Rogen said, “I’ve got a lot of Emmys. I went from no Emmys to a lot of Emmys in one night.”
The Emmy winner then admitted that it was indeed lovely, and that he was tempted to let his ego get carried away, “but then you remind yourself, like, I think Guy Fieri has, like, 40 Emmys at this point.”
“So, you know, it’s a prestigious award, but it’s, like, it’s not like an Oscar or something like that,” Rogen added.
The 43-year-old then quipped that Guy Fieri has no Oscars, implying that the two are even on that front at least.
Notably, it appears that the Knocked Up actor was simply being humble, as the television presenter he was comparing himself to possesses only one Daytime Emmy award as of yet.
Yes, Rogen has spoken about having Tourette’s syndrome along with other celebrities like Billie Eilish and Lewis Capaldi.
