Donald Trump, the 47th president of the United States, has finally broken silence on Sean ‘Diddy’ Case days after the rapper’s sentence hearing.

Although the musician put in all efforts to come out clean in the federal case, the 55-year-old singer was sentenced to four years and two months in jail for transportation charges related to prostitutions.

During his press conference in Oval Office, the politician was asked about giving a presidential pardon to Ghislaine Maxwell, a convicted child sex offender.

Trump noted that he will have to “take a look at it” as he doesn’t “know anything about” Ghislaine, who was an associate of Jeffery Epstein. 

However, he mentioned Diddy in the conversation, revealing an interesting name for him. The president added in the answer: “A lot of people have asked me for pardons.”

“I call him Puff Daddy. He asked me for a pardon,” the businessman revealed while speaking with the reporters.

The singer was denied a pardon from the politician despite reaching out to him several times before October 3.

Why was Diddy not granted a presidential pardon?

The reason why he couldn’t get his hands on get out of jail free card is because of his behaviour towards Trump when he ran for office.

Previously, the 79-year-old disclosed in a separate interview that initially Diddy was a "nice" guy; however, he became very hostile after he embarked on his political journey.
