Walton Goggins, who is known for his TV roles in different series, cleared the air after Pete Davidson candidly predicted his downfall.
Instead of a heated exchange, the 53-year-old actor gave a surprising response to the prediction about his future written in The Hollywood Reporter article.
The White Lotus star turned to his Instagram to pen down his opinion in an extensive note with pictures of the source and his stylish clicks.
Walton expressed his gratitude towards Pete for “the heads up,” calling Pedro Pascal a “great man.” He admitted that he is “aware that every experience has a shelf life.”
Seemingly poking fun at Pete, the actor speculated that the comedian might be “tired of hearing my homilies,” advising him to not “click” on headlines that include the Fallout star.
Meanwhile, he revealed that being mentioned by the notable outlet alongside the comedian and Pedro is “a blessing,” something out of the imagination of a “poor kid from GA.”
The response appears to be a perfect balance of sarcasm and acknowledgment, ensuring he is enjoying his time without being overwhelmed by loss of fame in the future.
This came after the SNL star used him as an example of how fame works, predicting that Walton’s fans might “turn on” him in the near future.
During his appearance on The Past Weekend podcast, the Bupkis actor shared the journey of Pedro towards fame as “everyone’s like, ‘Daddy, daddy!”
On the other hand, he believes that the Tomb Raider star might be next, pointing out that the popularity comes and goes where sometimes it might be “within months.”
