Cheryl in ‘bad place’ as Liam Payne’s first death anniversary draws near

British singer Cheryl has been in a “bad place”.

The singer went through a major heartbreak when his former partner and baby daddy Liam Payne passed away in October 2024.

The One Direction star fell from his hotel room balcony in Argentina which caused intense injuries and resulted in his passing.

Since his death, Cheryl has been fearing her and their son Bear’s safety as their stalker has been on the loose.

But now, the singer can breathe a sigh of relief, as her stalker has been imprisoned.

Convicted murderer Daniel Bannister was jailed for persistently harassing the singer at her home.

The singer’s safety was at risk at the residence where she lives with her and Liam’s only son, Bear.

“Cheryl has been in a really bad place, it's been a living nightmare”, a source told OK!.

The source further added, “It's been really tough on her and Bear, and after the heartbreak of losing Liam, it was the last thing she needed.”

The pop icon’s well-wishers are hoping for her to be at peace as Liam’s first death anniversary is approaching.

The former pair started dating in 2016 and welcomed son in 2017. However, they eventually split in 2018.
