Glen Powell details uncomfortable interaction with actor: ‘toxic’

Glen Powell has opened up about an uneasy interaction he had at a party, and netizens are scrambling to figure out who it was with.

The Top Gun: Maverick star recalled an incident from a Hollywood party where he met a celebrity who has been cancelled for their beliefs, but their work had a positive impact on the actor.

In a chat on the Therapuss With Jake Shane podcast, the Anyone But You star added that the event had press and cameras as well.

“This person had made some of my favorite movies and I was like, ‘Oh, this is great.’ He came up and he said, ‘Nice to meet you.’ I was like, ‘Oh, dude. Such a big fan.’ And then a photographer said, ‘Hey, can we take a picture of you guys,’” Glen told.

He went on to add that the celebrity in question had recently been canceled, and that the 36-year-old was a fan of their work, but not their choices.

“But then, when they wanted to take a picture with you, I realized very quickly — I was like, ‘Oh, I don’t know if this is a good idea.’ He clearly clocked that I was like, ‘Oh, this is probably not a good idea.’ And I realized that this guy, his face is toxic,” the Hit Man star stated.

This recollection of events has sent netizens into a frenzy as they attempt to figure out who the unnamed celebrity is.

Notably, a vast majority of internet users speculate it was Kevin Spacey, with some saying it could be James Franco or Ryan Reynolds.
