Brandon Blackstock's daughter moves fans to tears with heartbreaking tribute

Savannah Blackstock, daughter of Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock, has shared an emotional tribute following the death of her father.

The 23-year-old, who is expecting her third child, opened up on Instagram about the pain of watching her dad battle cancer and the devastation of losing him.

Brandon, a talent manager, passed away in August at the age of 48 after a private three-year fight with the illness.

Reflecting on what she described as a year of “trusting in the Lord,” she wrote: “Seeing my dad sick and losing him was something I never imagined or could have possibly prepared myself for, let alone while being young and pregnant. 

We have received an overwhelming amount of love and support over the past six months, and we are eternally grateful.”

Savannah, who runs a real estate business with her husband, also expressed gratitude to their clients for standing by them during months of grief and unexpected travel.

 She added: “Despite our absence, God has taken care of us and our business in the most miraculous ways.”

Brandon is survived by Savannah and Seth, 18, from his first marriage to Melissa Ashworth, as well as River, 11, and Remy, nine, from his marriage to pop superstar Kelly Clarkson.

A family representative confirmed his passing, saying he “bravely battled cancer for more than three years” and “passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones.”
