Kelly Clarson appears to be focusing on her work engagements as reports of her returning to TV make headlines, with her latest social media post also indicating the same.
The Stronger singer took to her Instagram, just weeks after ex-husband Brandon Blackstock's death, to reminisce on a life changing moment from decades ago with a throwback .
In the snap from 2002 on September 4, The Kelly Clarkson Show host was surrounded by confetti since she had just won American Idol that year.
Kelly began the sentimental caption of the post with, “To everyone that took time 23 years ago to call in and vote for me, thank you,” with prayer hands.
“Winning American Idol changed my life and I will be forever grateful for all of you that have supported me for so many years,” the 43-year-old continued.
The fan-favourite figure thanked fans once again, adding that she was lucky to be able to turn her passions into her profession.
Kelly, who is a mother to two little ones with the now-deceased talent manager Brandon, had to put her career on hold to fulfil her duties as a mother.
In a statement less than twenty-four hours before his death, the three-time Grammy award winner had noted that she would be postponing her Las Vegas Residency shows for the month of August due to the father of her children’s illness.
Brandon passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025 after a long-standing battle with melanoma, which is a type of skin cancer.
