Liam Gallagher has weighed in on the FIFA World Cup final halftime show, sharing a blunt review of the star studded performance.

The Oasis frontman took to X (formerly Twitter) shortly after the show, which featured performances by Madonna, Justin Bieber, Shakira, BTS, Burna Boy and others.

He first penned, "This is like a bad trip."

In the following post, he wote, "It's a good job I've got my spiritual socks on or that halftime entertainment could have tipped me over the edge."

For the unversed, the singer remained actively engaged with the World Cup and publicly rooted for England until their semi final exit.
