Luann de Lesseps is set to reprise her role in the hit Canadian series Murdoch Mysteries for its Season 19 premiere.

Lesseps first appeared in Season 18 as the glamorous but scheming wife of Toronto’s corrupt mayor, Noelle Victoria.

Season 18 ended with a cliffhanger in which Vaughan closed Station House No. 4, and Noelle made a striking return, this time with her ever-reliable assistant, played by Dave Quinn, at her side.

Speaking with PEOPLE, Lesseps squealed with excitement about returning to the series and hinted at what fans can look forward to.

“When I first joined Murdoch Mysteries, I was blown away by how much fun it was to step into this incredible world,” she said. “The costumes, the drama, the intrigue — it was fabulous, and the cast and crew were so welcoming and supportive!”

Recalling the love and support she received from the cast and crew, Lesseps said she is thrilled to be back on set.

“I couldn’t be more excited to return as Noelle Victoria and stir things up even more this season,” she added, before teasing: “Let’s just say, viewers should expect some fireworks — and a lot of flirting.”

Murdoch Mysteries, Canada’s longest-running drama series with more than 300 episodes, will premiere its 19th season on Oct. 6.
