Sean “Diddy” Combs scandalous trial is only left with sentencing, and the rapper’s son Christian Combs has sent a letter to U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian.
The Lonely Roads singer expressed hope for the Bad Boy Records owner’s release before the fast-approaching October 3rd, which will determine how much time the 55-year-old spends in prison as a result of being found guilty of two counts.
In the letter, the 27-year-old calls the father-of-seven, the “best father you could ever imagine,” as well as descriptions of the emotional turmoil the children have endured since their father has been embroiled in the case.
“I’m asking you to please let my father out of jail! He does not deserve to be there and I know this from the bottom of my heart!!” Christian wrote.
“Me and my sisters and brother don’t have a mom. With my dad still in jail it feels like I have no one at all. And it’s really a scary feeling. That I cant take. Please please dont make this feeling a reality. I would not be able to handle that at all. Please God please judge! Please let my father out of jail!!” he added.
The son’s letter is one of the bunch that have been submitted to judge Arun, as well as Diddy’s defense team’s attempts to persuade him to let the convict go.
However, it appears that the I’ll Be Missing You singer will not be let off that easy since the judge has not given him much leeway as of yet.
Diddy was indicted in the Southern District of New York on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking by force and transportation for purposes of prostitution, and was only found guilty of the last charge, respectively.
