Harry Potter star Emma Watsan, who is widely known for role as Hermione Granger, has opened up about her driving ban.
The actress was banned in July from driving because of speeding at 38mph in a 30mph zone. She received a six-month ban.
She already had nine points on her licence before the offence, which took place in Oxford.
The 35-year-old explained how her points started piling up after she became a student at the Oxford University in 2023.
In her student life, which was very different to her acting career, Emma had to drive herself everywhere.
After years of being driven to movie stes, driving all by herself was difficult for her.
Speaking on On Purpose with Jay Shetty podcast, Emma said, “I went from basically only driving myself on weekends or during a holiday to then when I became a student driving myself all the time.”
Emma said she “did not have the experience or skills” because of being driven everywhere.
The star also said it was “humbling” because on movie sets she could do everything but she struggles with day-to-day activities.
