Kate Hudson is sharing a heartfelt family moment as her son Ryder Robinson completes his graduation from NYU.

The Running Point star shared a reflective message on motherhood, looking back on her early years as a young parent and the uncertainty that came with it.

"I remember staring into the eyes of baby Ryder. I was young but unwavering as a mother. I thought I knew exactly what I was doing. Isn't time a beautiful reminder to allow reflection and consideration of all we thought we knew, yet had no idea?"

Moreover, she shared thoughts on the ongoing emotional worry that accompanies her through her children’s different life stages.

"The future was ahead and I wondered, 'Who will this child be one day? What will be their favorite food? Will they be funny? Serious? Difficult? Will they be fun to be around? Please God make them cool. Will they get through life with perspective? Will they be happy?' The last being the most important to me, but the endless questions."

Furthermore, she went on to describe what she called a lifelong “anxiety” tied to motherhood, before shifting into pride as she reflected on seeing her son step into adulthood after graduation.

Notably, Hudson shares Ryder with ex-husband Chris Robinson, and is also mother to children with Matt Bellamy and Danny Fujikawa.
