Kanye West, Travis Scott delivered brutal blow in Italy: 'Banned'

Kanye West, who has a history of getting banned, has faced another disappointment ahead of a show.

Notably, this time he has another fellow rapper, Travis Scott, with him, which might make him feel a little better.

It was recently revealed that the duo, who were set to perform for their fans, were banned by the Italian authorities.

As per Prefect Salvatore Angieri's statement, it was revealed that the decision was taken because of public order and security concerns.

It is to be noted that the singers were set to perform at the Pulse of Gaia Festival in northern Italy, with Travis performing on July 17 and then Kanye taking the stage on July 18.

He stated, "the Prefect has adopted a measure pursuant to Article 2 of the Consolidated Law on Public Safety (TULPS), prohibiting both concerts."

The statement further read, "The overall assessment also took into account the cancellation of previous concerts by the American rapper [Kanye West] in other countries and the real risk of counter-demonstrations."

The Flashing Lights hit maker is known for his controversial views, which was another reason for such news, and the FE!N crooner has major safety concerns at his concerts after the 2021 Astroworld crowd crush tragedy.
