Paul Rudd, who is known worldwide for his role in Marvel's movie, Antman, recently recalled his past.

The actor has revealed uncertainty surrounding his first role amid audition and how he was chosen for his first film, Clueless.

Thinking back, the 57-year-old confessed that he had no idea his first released movie would become this big.

Speaking to host, Jane Shane for the 28th episode of the podcast, Therapuss, he disclosed how it all went down.

The Anaconda star revealed how uncertain he was about the role he wanted to audition for and how mixed up it got.

He stated, "I read the script and I liked it. I thought it was smart, and I thought it was kind of interesting."

He added, "When I went in, I asked if I could audition for a bunch of the roles. I auditioned for Christian. I wanted to audition for Murray, but I didn't realize that he was African-American, Elton, which was [Jeremy] Sisto's part. And then they said, 'Well, would you read for Josh?'"

After auditioning for multiple roles in the 1995 movie, Paul was trusted to play the lead role.

He also exclaimed about the movie that it was his, "second movie that I ever did, but it was the first one that ever came out."

It is to be noted that the Critics' Choice Television Award winner described the movie's success as "a bit of a slower burn" and unexpected.
