Hugh Jackman, Sutton Foster avoiding red carepet debut: Here’s why

Australian star Hugh Jackman has been dating American actress Sutton Foster but the couple is yet to make a red carpet debut together.

Hugh was married to Deborra-Lee Furness for 29 years until their divorce in 2025.

Now, as the actor is moving on with his new partner, he is keeping his love private.

A source told New Idea that the pair is “nervous” to make a public debut.

“Sutton is still nervous about taking that big step into Hugh's world”, the outlet reported.

So far, the duo has dodged invited from the Oscars, the Met Gala, and the Tony Awards.

Even though the two walked a red carpet before their romance went public, they are yet to walk together after becoming a couple.

However, it could change now as Hugh’s upcoming film Song Sung Blue will premier at the AFI Fest in Hollywood on October 26.

“It's a big moment for him, and he wants to share it with the woman he loves”, the source added.

Few days ago, the couple was spotted at LaGuardia Airport, New York.

Hugh and Sutton started dating in late 2024 after seperating from his former wife.
