Jason Derulo responds to lawsuit with bizarre defense 

Jason Derulo has finally responded to the suit filed by two brothers, Juan Zetina and Alvaro Zetina after one of them fell from a height while working at the singer’s house.

The man, Alvaro got severely injured after as a result of the tumble while he was at the Swalla singer’s property to work on several areas in the Tarzana, California home.

In the latest filings obtained by Us Weekly, the dancer denies all claims made against him, taking no part in the incident that occurred at the $3 million mansion.

The 36-year-old’s attorney notes that the accident was a result of no “human intervention but were solely caused by a superhuman cause or Act of God, whose effects could not have been anticipated or prevented by the exercise of care on the part of [Derulo].”

Derulo’s intent was called malicious and containing conscious disregard of the plaintiff’s health and safety, while also writing that “the scaffolding was dangerous and defective. It lacked proper installation, safety features and maintenance.”

Notably, following Alvaro’s fall, he was taken to the hospital by the entertainer’s dad and Juan, his brother to VIP urgent care.

Is Jason Derulo still married?

Derulo is not married, and him and his ex-wife Jena Frumes divorced four months after welcoming their first child.
